Correspondence was a project that took
place over the year of 2018 between artists Jens Lekman
and Annika Norlin. Each month a song was posted on this
website as a letter to the other. In the end it became an
epistolary novel in the form of twelve folksongs, strings
were added to half of the songs and the final result can
be enjoyed HERE!
For the sake of preserving the project in it's original
form you can still listen to the unmastered raw songs
without strings below as they were originally posted on
this website as well as read the lyrics to each song.
Below you will also find an introduction and a track by
track commentary.
